BantamBox Cottage

This detached accessory dwelling unit (DADU) is designed to meet the city of Seattle’s new zoning regulations allowing for backyard cottages in residential zones. The design allows for a variety of architectural styles within the same modular design. Designed for prefabricated construction while still adaptable to site built construction, the modules can be arranged in multiple configurations ranging in size from 280sf to 500sf. Majority of interior elements and finishes including entire kitchen and bathroom can be factory built. Features include spray-foam wall insulation and compact appliances for increased living area and high-efficiency fixtures.

This project is available as a plan set or a prefabricated turnkey cottage installed on your property. Contact us for more information about building a DADU in your backyard.
