The Aqua Bella projects consist of a pair of mixed use multifamily apartment buildings which surround a newly improved public stair in SW City View Street. The building design emphasizes eroded corners and a minimized structure width to preserve views of downtown and the Cascades for the residential neighborhood to the west. The public stairway was integrated with secondary building entries and the stairway terminates at Harbor Avenue in a widened pedestrian plaza which is encompassed by retail spaces in both buildings to the north and the south.

Rooftop common decks and scenic overlooks along the western edge were provided to take advantage of the views of Puget Sound.
